ACQUISITION OF MATERIALS
Selma China has more than 10 years of experience in the purchase of materials. In addition to China, we also make acquisitions from other countries in Asia.
We focus mainly on the needs of industry, i.e. steel, stainless steel, packaging and technical materials, and the needs of the furniture industry as well as other raw materials.
SEMI-FABRICATED AND FINISHED PRODUCTS
We only accept manufacturers that are respected in China and known for their high quality.
Production in China is usually considerably cheaper, e.g. technical products for the construction industry. There are also cost-efficient suppliers for finished consumer products and complex, technically demanding products.
ACQUISITION OF MACHINES AND INSTRUMENTS
Selma China has managed projects involving everything from individual machines to complete production lines for industry. For example, production mechanization for the air-conditioning industry and instruments for the metal industry are types of acquisitions made by our long-standing partners.
QUALITY CONTROL
Selma China ensures that the deliveries made by our Chinese partners meet our clients’ standards. Depending on our clients’ needs, Finnish agencies may also be included in the process, e.g. VTT Technical Research Centre of Finland and Inspecta.
The success of this supervision calls for continuous contact with the Chinese companies and the ability to react quickly to possible problem situations.
In China, maintaining a good relationship with the local Chinese quality-control authorities is also important. Selma China possesses extensive experience in the compilation and supervision of agreements.
